Laura has made a range of one-off lockets in silver and textiles, sometimes using ribbons or old felt tip pens.

Inspiration for the pomander piece came from a period of time working at Stirling Castle on the 'Meet Your Maker' project with Craft Scotland. Historical metal pomanders were filled with fresh herbs and perfumes that disguised unpleasant smells. This piece is worn as as a pendant and slides open to insert fresh herbs.
